Joyful Linens

Joy from Joyful Linens sent me an Etsy conversation this morning. It was so nice to meet an crafter in North Carolina. I love making craft friends online. It makes me feel connected to a world of creativity. Thank you for reaching out to me Joy. I have probably been by her town when I lived in western North Carolina since we used to go mining in Franklin.

You have got to check her blog out. Her writing will take you to a  magical place. I hope she will put together a book of stories of farm life. I know I would love to read and own it. Also her linens are fabulous because of the way she plays with colors. You can feel the joy. Enjoy this wonderful person and her works. Bohemian Dreams Pillowcase Whimsical Aqua Orange Paisley

  1. I am speechless, Nadine! This is one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me! As I wrote in my Feb. 14 post, one of the absolute best things about my foray into the world of online business is meeting and making new friends far and wide. I have so much to learn and I’m just trying to take it one day at a time. Sometimes it seems I’m moving at a snail’s pace~~it helps to make a list of all the things I’ve gotten done since I started this adventure (in addition to working full time), then I can see that I actually am making progress. Thank you SO much for you help and support! I am truly grateful. ❤

  2. Just like your good self I made this talented ladies acquaintance via my blog & through Etsy, her passion for colour knows no bound. We all have different talents using different mediums, your crochet goodness is equally as stunning, and such fun, aren’t we fortunate to be able to create in our own unique ways

  3. It is aways nice to meet others who share passion for what they do. Glad I am not the only one who gets to experience the joy of an online friend! Her work sure is lovely too.

  4. I can’t tell you, ladies, how much good it does me to read your wonderful and kind comments about my work. I love so much working with colors and patterns and have been doing so my whole life in one way or another. You know gardening is all about combining colors, textures, and forms and for many years I indulged myself that way. As I get older and gardening gets harder I have turned to fabrics for creating. Not that I’m giving up gardening, but I certainly can’t go at it like I used to. Thank goodness for Epsom salts! I just want you all to know your comments are so heartwarming and have made me very happy. Thank you all so much.
